Amazing weather, enthusiastic volunteers, passionate staff & supporters, proud parents, gracious guests; all the ingredients for a successful Gala Day.
Being the end of the season, this round robin tournament was mainly focused on "Fun & Friendship". Despite the friendly nature of the tournament, there was definitely a competitive edge on display as teams from Aspendale SC, Balmoral FC, Springvale City SC and Heatherton United SC, took to the pitch to strut their stuff.
Heathertons' Under 12's and Under 15's did battle, as did coaches, and dads in a bit of "friendly" competitive fun.
The day ended with team award presentations in recognition of our players efforts, as well as that of team coaches and managers.
A huge thankyou to all the volunteers that helped out during the day, in and around the canteen, and on the pitch. We couldn't have done it without you.
